Capernow is in the forefront of developing intelligent Business Support Systems (BSS) Tele Management Systems, and our offering to the market goes under the name iTMS; the organization is geared for the development of future requirements for advanced technology and user-friendly solutions.

We are proud to be developers, sparring partners and a full service company, all in one, and this sets the requirements for the way we develop and manage our processes; this is why we focus on managing expectations, dialogue and follow-up.

Capernow develops the technology of the future, and every year we invest significant resources in developing and improving our main product iTMS, just as we invest heavily in operations and hosting that can match the system.


Our Mission

Capernow’s mission is to provide world-class intelligent Tele Management Systems (iTMS), helping companies to accelerate the self-service capability for end users as well as the intelligent business processes management to telco's and “triple/quad” providers.

What we expect will happen in the world of telco’s and the so-called triple/quad-play has a parallel to the way in which the travel agency business has been transformed over the past decade; on-line self-service has largely eliminated the traditional travel agent, improving prices and choice for the end user, while making the industry more profitable for the provider of the product, namely travel.

In other words, we provide the “brick and mortar” in order to build the right solutions or more specifically, the backbone which can make this transformation manageable and efficient in the world of converging services.


Brief History and Current Positioning

Capernow was founded in 1996 under the name Scanweb as a development company and has pioneered automated business processes in Scandinavia in the past decade. In 2009 our company changed name to Capernow – a truer name to what we do.

In the past years Capernow have invested heavily in making the delivery of our services highly scalable by transitioning to MS .NET and by defining integration modules that are largely compatible with other key providers of billing, OSS, BSS and CRM systems.

The strength of our product line is best illustrated by the recent advent of fiber optics in Denmark.  For historic reasons, the utility sector in Denmark has been a highly fragmented, cash-rich collection of local co-operatives.  They have recently been investing heavily in laying fiber-optics in their respective regions and are now providing bundled Video, Telecom and Broadband Internet Access services. 

Capernow has benefited from this particular fragmentation in the local market and has captured more than 80% of the new business opportunity by providing turn-key Tele Management Systems.  In the process, we have demonstrated that no other provider in the market place can compete on price or functionality.

The Capernow group encompasses Capernow Tele Management Systems A/S, Telogic and Capernow Projects A/S.

Capernow holds a minority stake in Telogic, who runs a MVNE business (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler), which has recently received significant outside funding from BNP, a large French bank.  The commercial relationship with Telogic is a non-exclusive one, and it has already opened several new client and geographical opportunities for us.  There is considerable value in the shares and in the relationship with Telogic.

Capernow holds a majority stake in Capernow Projects, who runs a system integrator business based on the common product line iTMS. The perspectives for Projects are to open up new markets and opportunities in new countries.

As of today the group employs more than 70 employees in 5 countries – in the Nordics we have offices in Denmark and Sweden – and generate a turnover in the area of € 40 mill. The group has close to 30 customers in the Telco market in Germany, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Netherlands and Denmark.

We also have an effective partner strategy, which today has brought us close partnerships with prominent international companies.

Our vision is to be recognized as the worldwide champion of intelligent self-service and Tele Management Systems.  In order to achieve this, we are humble to the task and invite partners and customers to embark on this journey to fully productizing our iTMS solution and in reaching out beyond our home market. 

Our product and we are ready to service new MVNO’s and “triple/quad” providers.  It is a challenge that we embark on with great confidence.


Current Company Status

Capernow have a significant number of customers – many of them MVNO’s outside our country of origin Denmark.

Very many of these customers have been with us for a substantial number of years, and they have together with us tested and consequently been running their business on our platform, one of which is a company with an excess of 2 million customer subscriptions yearly.

It is fair to say that we have benefited very positively from the advent of fiber-optics in our home market, which is one of the most advanced in the world in terms of deployment.

Through our focus on the fiber business and our triple-play customers, we have demonstrated the strength of our core product capability and have stayed ahead in the tough competition in this market based on our integrated, web based offering.  We continue to outperform the competitors by winning the bulk of the new business opportunities we see in the markets where we have an interest.

The key to our success lies in our employees. Our staffs are highly skilled and highly motivated.  We strive to attract the brightest engineers in Denmark and abroad, and have made significant progress in terms of channeling our R&D activity while “industrializing” our customer care and add-on services.


Financial Information

The Capernow Group generated revenues around € 40 million – unedited figures based on the financial year ending September 2011 – with 70 dedicated employees in 5 countries.

The Company is based in Copenhagen with more than 30 employees, excluding external consultants; and we have as a company been profitable for the past five years.

Capernow have been awarded the highest credit rating. This award is based on data available to the rating company Soliditet AAA_logo_web_NY_tiny – former known as Dun and Bradstreet.
